It has brought to our attention that lately, customers who purchased the Hyper Base series are encountering issues with the MAME collection which mainly are duplicates and incompatibility. To meet certain gamers, particularly collectors need, we’ve preloaded a full non-merged MAME rom set in the micro-SD card coming along with the Hyper Base R1. However due to the way how EmuELEC display the games, those versions appeared to be shown as duplicates. Additionally, due to the large number and complexity of games in the MAME collection, you may find some of these games are tricky to run properly. For the mentioned issue, we have now set up an FTP server, in order to replace the original MAME folder if you want, so that the Hyper Base will work as it should be, ‘plug and play’.
